Chromatic Orb is a modern metal project from Germany by Berkay Oezbek. The initial idea was to record an EP with lyrics based on his D&D campaign, just for fun. For recording he teamed up with a group of talented musicians including vocalists Onur Çobanoğlu and Elvya. The response and the quality turned out to be great and they decided to transform the project into a full live band. The project was never meant to be and is not a Power Metal project. Project's influences include In Flames, Avenged Sevenfold, Opeth , Soilwork and Killswitch Engage. First four songs are focused more on exploration rather than following a strict genre. Now the direction is clear and the project is on a transformation phase from a project to full live band. The direction is towards a mixture between Metalcore, Melodic Death Metal, Groove Metal with a proggy and modern twist.
